International children’s theatre festival in Copenhagen
SpringFestival will be launched from May 14th to May 21th 2012 at Amager Kulturpunkt in Copenhagen and at selected venues in the outskirts of the capital and in Øresundsregionen.

For eight days, we will transform ZeBU:, BETA, Amager Bio and the entire Amager Kulturpunkt and Region Hovedstaden to a Mecca of theatre, dance, modern circus and other types of performing arts intended for children and young people. It is going to be eight wild days for all children and young people – and their parents.

With SpringFestival 2014, we wish to present a wide selection of genres within modern performing arts for children and young people: speech-based shows, dance shows, musical theatre shows, performance theatre, puppet theatre and productions that utilise the electronic media.

Denmark is famous for its children’s theatre, which is unique worldwide. But other countries also create amazing theatre performances for children and young people, which the audience in Denmark sadly rarely gets the opportunity to experience. SpringFestival shows the best from Denmark and other countries.

SpringFestival 2014 is arranged by ZeBU in cooperation with Amager Kulturpunkt and Børnekulturhuset.
